Indaco rebranding
Indaco Systems has a myriad of products and services targeted mainly at people who work with the law: lawyers, accountants, etc. But, the lack of any coherent visual language and product cross promotion confused clients. All had trouble identifying the products that Indaco sells.
A new identity couldn’t have been established through a large campaign and so resemblance was kept with the old visual elements. The solution was an evolutive, simplified, unitary and cohesive visual treatment.
A slab serif typeface was the choice in echoing the current design. A typeface that looks good both on paper and in digital form, that can be used as a web font, plus romanian characters—of course. Museo was the most suitable one.
The logotype will read just Indaco. Both customers and employees were using this simplified call so it was a natural decision. For the products, a unique color was selected and a symbol as the rest of the visual treatment will unitary.
This is not just a redesign of some logos, it is a profound reimagination of the values on which Indaco is build as a company. This signals a new way of doing business and, emotions included, this is the pinnacle of my six year collaboration with them.
